Few days ago, one of my college friends, who is working in a company (currently working in a foreign country (onsite project)) called me on Skype. While discussing the usual mundane stuff, we started talking about businesses. I knew that he has no any plan of a startup and is quite happy with his current job. We discussed about his company, business growth and why we should start a business. I was an idiot.
Then, I switched the subject knowing that he has no intention to start a new business.
Lesson learnt: Never discuss startup or business related things with company employees. They will hate it and will consider as if you’re not respecting their job.
TL;DR
You need to learn when to, what to and where to talk!
-
Never discuss entrepreneurship with employees if you know they love their job and have no intention of switching. They will consider as if you’re not respecting their job.

Don’t be an idiot!
