That is why spell check was invented

Comparing yourself to others always makes you feel small. So I compare myself to me yesterday, and change the plan when I fall behind.

We all make mistakes. That is why spell check was invented.

“The inch that compares itself to a foot will always come up short.” It is the very act of comparing one’s self to another that tells everyone exactly how one sees one’s self.

Knowing this, I compare myself to me yesterday. If I measurably performed better than I did last time, I have made progress. If not, then I alter my performance plan, and make another attempt. This approach eliminates the need to make derogatory statements about others.

My life has been full of ups and downs, but what I’ve learned is that difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations. I’m even grateful for all the struggle and the bad times I’ve experienced in my life because they’ve made me stronger and helped me appreciate the good times in my life even more than before.
