Why I do not brag about earnings

A blogger asked why I never promote myself the way others do. My answer, and what I think income screenshots actually produce.

A vintage enamel megaphone lying on its side, mouth turned away, cut out against concentric sound-wave arcs on a grained dusty-rose paper-collage ground

One blogger asked me, you’re a good young blogger from India; why are you not promoting yourself. Some bloggers are bragging on daily basis, why are you not doing that?

My answer: bragging will not help you for long run. After 2-3 years people will find the real face of you so they should stop bragging and deliver value to the community.

Does it really matter if I share how much I’m earning, people will say it’ll inspire them. But I found that rather than inspiring, 70% people will be jealous. What really matters for me is a reputation and what are you giving back to the community.
