Being called Rancho

Some of my friends started calling me Rancho. Why that name means more to me than a degree, and what a friend list says about the company you keep.

When I was in college I never used to think that some of my friends will call me “Rancho” in the future and now it feels amazing when that happens.

The most important thing is that there are many Ranchos in my friend list and I am quite lucky in that respect. I’ve got many great friends, haven’t met most of them but they are doing good, inspiring others. They are earning loads of money and helping others to do the same. They are encouraging others to start blogging and affiliate marketing. Some of them were rejected in campus interviews but now they are hiring others.

Android custom ROMs developed by one of my friends has been downloaded more than 500,000 times. Some of my friends are even famous because of their viral statuses or reviews.

I feel proud when my friends are helping others to make life better. What else would I want?
